I had a great experience with this motel. Mrs. Patel at the front desk was so friendly and kind and very informative. The rooms are out dated as some of the reviews say but all in all I’d say it compares with Wyndam motels or any other motel I’ve stayed in. We slept great and had a very pleasant experience. We will stay again next week when we’re in town.
We really enjoyed our overnight stay in this little spot. It was clean and just what we needed for a good night's sleep after driving a long way. It was quiet on a Thursday night. And there was coffee in the office when we were ready to head out in the morning. It is somewhat dark at night so keep your eyes open and slow down as you get close to the address.
I cant say enough about how kind the woman who was working and I dont know if shes the owner or not but she was an older Indian woman. I was traveling through the night and couldn't even find a restroom open, I was exhausted and, call it woman's intuition I knew it was time to pull over and call it a night, the next town I pull in to is Jonesville and I find this motor lodge and this kind woman. Its not a 5star hotel. But youre in the mountains in the middle of nowhere Virginia surrounded by nothing. It was almost midnight and she got me and my daughter a room close to the office, clean beds, a safe place to sleep for the night, and she made sure to ask if we were OK and if we needed anything. And it was less than $100. She was the answer to a prayer and I will forever be thankful for her and for a night of safety and rest.
I ended up walking at 1:00 am the other morning and hoping the whole way there that she would be able to rent me a room for the night and thank God when I got there she came to the door and I got a room for the night.. I didn't get her name but thank you so much you were most certainly a lifesaver that morning!
